Position: Deputy Manager
Reporting to: Home Manager
Location: Glasgow
Service: Elderly Care
Salary: £43,000 - £47,000
With a clinical background, the perfect candidate will hold management and supervisory experience to support the Home Manager to ensure the best standards and quality of care are provided.
Responsibilities
* Take leadership for the care team supporting with training, continuing their professional development, rotas.
* Create and monitor care plans
* Support the Home Manager with daily operations of the home such as budgeting, reporting,
* Work closely with external stakeholders
* Create and maintain good relationships with residents and their families, addressing any queries they have and supporting them where needed.
* Complying with standards set by SSSC and following all company, operational and health and safety procedures.
* Continuous personal development.
Requirements
* Must be an RGN with an active PIN.
* SVQ4 in Leadership and Management is beneficial but not essential.
* Previous experience in a leadership role, creating strong working relationships with team members.
* Knowledge of care home operations and of the expectations of standards.
