Contracts Manager - Office Fit Out - Main Contractor

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a forward-thinking, Main Contractor. The company are well respected and have a wealth of experience in the office fit-out arena, making them one of the biggest names in the game. The role will see you working on a range of office fit-out projects across the country.

With several awards to their name, the company have a reputation for delivering first-class projects and developing team members to further their careers and take the next.

You will have the chance to work on some of the most exciting projects in the UK, managing multi-million-pound projects from inception to completion.

This is a perfect role for someone with a well-established commercial fit-out background who is looking to further their career on nationally renowned projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, in addition to a proven commercial track-record in a similar environment.
Role Requirements:
* SMSTS/CSCS
* Proficient in Microsoft Project
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Experience working on design and build projects
* Strong leadership skills
* Commercial experience
Responsibilities:
* Produce site logistics plans, methodologies, programmes & other documentation
* Attend tender interviews when required
* Provide delivery expertise for tenders
* Advise on timescales to meet required deadlines
* Advise on buildability and design
* Request site-based
* Organise and chair internal handover meetings with all the project team*
* Liaise with H&S manager and ensure that health and safety policies and good practices are enforced
* Develop and complete the construction programme
* Manage the project team to ensure that pre-construction activities are completed in accordance with the programme
* If a Quantity Surveyor is allocated, liaise with the Quantity Surveyor to review the procurement plan, selection of suppliers and timescales for procurement.
* Ensure statutory compliance
Working Arrangements:
* Based either in the office or on/between sites where appropriate
* Regular site visits and client meetings are anticipated for projects across the UK
